Sea moss can be frozen (suggested method: in ice trays) to extend shelf life to up to 3 months.

Storage: It is important to transfer sea moss to the fridge, as soon as possible after purchase. Also, to avoid spoilage* ensure that you always scoop sea moss out of jar with a clean utensil (no double-dipping).

This is my first time purchasing - which product would you recommend?

If this is your first time trying sea moss, we suggest that you start off with the fruity blends and/or a sample-size of a variant of your choosing to ease into the taste and texture of sea moss gel.

Without infused fruit, the taste of sea moss is reminiscent of the ocean, but subtle.

If you will be mixing your sea moss with other foods like smoothies, etc., then the original sea moss would be a good first choice: it blends/mixes easily which will mask it's taste. It also has a longer shelf life than the fruity blends.
